Storytelling
Using Infographics

Description

The CCS came to us to create a website celebrating 75 years of successful medical progress, policy victories, support programs, fundraising and community engagement. They trusted us in finding creative solutions to tell their stories, while also making an engaging platform which would inspire people to share their own stories and donate.

I took part in the very first creative meeting where we decided to use infographics which would express stories in a very visual and concise way. The 75 life stories have been organised into 4 sections: L for Leading Research, I for Influencing Public Policy, F for Focusing on Patient and Caregivers and E for 'Engaging more Canadians'. Every section has been organised in a meaningful way with intros and outros, telling a story from top to bottom.

In terms of graphic design, the challenge has been to synthesize a huge amount of information, sometimes using text with graphics, sometimes infographics, then to organise them all into web pages while guiding the reader's eye from one story to the other. To read more about a story, the user had to click on its graphic.

Please see a few site's sections I've worked on below. I created in particular 90% of the visuals of the 'E' section.
